How would you rate your genetics in terms of aesthetics?

I would rate mine below average.

ETA Context: Vitruvian Physique did a series of vids on how you determine whether you have great genetics (at least in regards to aesthetics) or not.

I always knew mine were below average but his vids helped put a ballpark number on it.

I only watched one video, but it was about bone structure.

Shoulders
Waist/Pelvis
Ankles
Wrist

I have wide hips and my shoulders are average I think, but my waist/hips/pelvis are so wide it really isn't aesthetically pleasing.

I measured my wrists and ankle and I think they're decent. My hips make me hate my life.

Height is subjective because if you look at the history of winners of Mr. Olympia, the majority of champions were under 5'7". Only one was over 6'0" I think (Arnold Schwarzenegger).

Measure across your shoulders, then measure your waist across (not completely around).

Then, divide your shoulder value by your waist value and see where you stack up.

I think 1.7 is above average. 2.0 is perfect.

I have a really long torso, and really long arms. It's almost impossible to find dress shirts that fit right off the shelf. I get them tailored.

My arms aren't freakishly long, but my wingspan is 84" which throws off normal shirt measurements I guess. Standing straight, the tips of my fingers only reach about halfway down my thighs.

I'm 6'4" and people are always shocked that my pants are only a 34" inseam.

Legit answer: great

I'm not to my potential but it's there. I come from a very athletic family.

I wear a 34 pant and weigh 225. I don't have problems gaining muscle.

Not good. I have a wide bone structure from both sides of the family. Im right at 5'11" and 214 right now and can put on 33" jeans. We tend to store fat pretty easy too but Im fairly lean right now.

That's awesome. This is about ONLY aesthetics, though. Wide shoulders, small waist. Doesn't really go to ability. This all comes down to your bone structure, which you can't really change.

Word. I'm the same height but I only weigh 175. My pants size? 33. My hips are pretty wide, I think.

Well, physical performance dictates appearance since you have to adapt to the physical activity. I have wide shoulders, small waist, and large legs.

I'm going to watch those Vitruvian videos and let you know based on that. BRB
