I have tried everything. Soaking in vinegar, leaving in the sun to dry, washing multiple times. Nothing seems to work.

Nothing works over time. the smell is there permanently. Just throw them out and move on.

I run everyday. I got a shirt from Under Armour and it works perfect. No smell, soaks up sweat. Look for "heat gear".

Have you tried baking soda?

Also, why do you smell so bad?

Run topless.

Or naked if you're also worried about smelly shorts/undies.

Once it's there, it isn't coming out. Not 100%.

The key is to not let it get there in the first place.

Vinegar works for me. I soak them and also put vinegar in the fabric softener place

It comes from not washing immediately after running/sweating. Left to lay around soaked for even a little while can set in the funk. Once it's in it's over. Come in, chunk it in the washer and turn it on

Wash all your workout gear every other day or so, small loads with hot water. Add vinegar and oxi clean to every load. In this heat, when you come back and your shite is drenched in heat inmeixyaley rinse it and hang it somewhere to dry before you wash it.

Considering running in clothing that keeps you cooler (split shorts, singlets, etc) early in the morning wouldn't either.
