Has anyone tried a supplement that has given you better strength gains than creatine?

Yes.

I think I’ve settled on the combination of fermented ginseng and 10:1 cordyceps powder. The combination has been shown to increase ATP just like creatine. I just don’t want to take creatine anymore. I read a couple of studies that showed prolonged use causes insulin resistance and it’s not worth it to even risk it.

I can tell a difference when I take a nitric oxide booster. I usually stick to citrulline.

*Nitro CM by PMD is a good one if you want to experiment

What studies?

There have only been 3 studies on creatine and insulin. Their was high consistency between them and none showed an effect on fasting insulin levels

There were only 4 studies done on blood glucose levels and creatine. They were all over the map but the conclusion was
quote:

No apparent influence on fasting blood glucose, but an 11-22% reduction in the postprandial spike.

All you have to do is go to examine.com they have all the studies listed.

Creatine has never been shown to have the effects you mentioned consistently in studies to draw any real conclusion.

Creatine is most studied supplement in history and pretty much everyone should be taking it that is of age 12 or so and beyond that plays sports. Also anyone that doesn't eat much red meat shluld as should older population. Been shown to help with mental cognitive response, lean muscle building, and strength

The Cordyceps and Fermented ginseng?

For the Cordyceps I got the 10:1 ratio because it contains more of the extract from the shroom that is more beneficial for assisting in exercise. They also have the 1:1 ratio, which is basically the whole shroom ground up without extracting certain parts.

Info on the benefits

Those were studies in tears, but humans. Hasn't been shown to do that in humans. Got any human studies?

Another reason rodents are used as models in medical testing is that their genetic, biological and behavior characteristics closely resemble those of humans, and many symptoms of human conditions can be replicated in mice and rats. "Rats and mice are mammals that share many processes with humans and are appropriate for use to answer many research questions," said Jenny Haliski, a representative for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Laboratory Animal Welfare.

Trust me I know that, but the effects are not always the same. It's not always 1:1 and why we run human studies too.
