It consists of:

1 mile run
100 pullups
200 pushups
300 body weight squats
1 mile run
Repeat for 30 days

I've done Murph plenty of times

There is no way I'm doing it for 30 straight days

maybe half Murph...maybe

I’ve done it every day for 30 days once. However, I did 3 miles instead of 2. No weighted vest. Some days I would split up the run and the movements of my body was exhausted. Like a morning/afternoon.

Honestly, it sucked, but it’s crazy how fast your body just adapts.

the hardest part was just the mental struggle of making yourself go every 4 hours, especially in the middle of the night

once I got out the door and running, it was fine

Yes. Or Vice versa. If I split, I always tried to do the movements in the morning, fasted. I seemed to be much better doing it that way.

Also partitioned the reps 5/10/15 for 20 rounds.

Some days suck, some days you absolutely crush it. My best timed day was on a Sunday around 6pm. It made no sense because for lunch that day I had a Supersonic bacon cheeseburger meal around noon.

Many times.

Doesn't count if you don't do it with the 40lb vest.

Edit: I haven't done it 30 days in a row. That's a new wrinkle I haven't seen before.

You know how I know you've never done it?

Because you're wrong? Although admittedly it's been a few years so the weight of the vest could very well be wrong. Maybe it was 25lb?

But Murph actually used to be one of my favorite workouts.

You said yourself if you haven't done it if you haven't done it with a 40lb weight vest.

You've never done it with a 40lb weight vest and couldn't if you tried.

Oh good lord. Alright, I will own up to being off on the weight of the vest. Not even going to edit my initial post because it's ok to be wrong on the internet sometimes. Feel better?

Best I ever did was around 42 minutes. Could never get below 40.

Wait, you can space out each part of Murph? I always assumed you did all the exercises back to back to back.

I honestly did not find the vest that much more difficult, in fact, my time was around the same (42ish)
