Still have extra days next week to catch them up. I think that was the original schedule you planned anyway. We have been hard at it. Feels good.

Didn’t want to start a new thread. But quick question.

What is your go to post workout meal? I have been working out early in the morning before work and so I’m starving when I get home. What’s your throughts?

i work out at night, if i was working out in the morning

protein shake as soon as i get home

shower

3-4 eggs, meat & some form of carb

personally finishing up late at night i try and just do the protein shake but if i must have something....chicken and white rice or a wrap packed with fat free turkey

for best results in PWO window you want lower fat as fat tends to blunt muscle protein synthesis.

I'm an early workout person too. I usually do a Kodiak muffin/oatmeal, some turkey sausage/eggs, and a protein shake.

I used to eat 4 fried eggs, a peanut butter sandwich, and a protein shake.

1/2cup quick oats, 1cup frozen berries, scoop of vanilla protein powder, and water. 2 min in microwave and you got yourself some PROTMEAL.

Felt like I was back enrolled at Back Arms University this morning. 25x4 pull-downs, then close grip push-ups, then rate press. My arms were about burst out of my shirt W4D2 done!

2 more to go!

I agree Jose. My arms were blowing up on part 2 today.

777 I’m impressed you’re working out at 10pm. I’m definitely sleeping by then!

I finished the chins/pulldowns and I looked at the next one and was like no way not more high rep triceps

I'm still not a huge fan of the tate press. I'm not sure if I just don't have the right form down yet or what, but I'm not feeling much.

i do 8-10 as a time to workout, eat and shower before going to lay in bed. Try to be asleep by 11 as I wake up at 6.

i have 3 young boys who are pretty heavy into sports so we have lots of practices/lessons and then they also workout. Also my 2 older boys are in gifted, so lots of homework, especially math. My wife helps with practices and with other HW but math is on me.

so really only time i can is 8 or later. and honestly as they have gotten older, 8 is getting harder and harder. I have to be more and mroe effecient with my time for sure, especially to make sure they have time to workout too.

W4D2 complete. Superset of heavy rows, rear flys, and close grip pushups was quite something. Ignored the tate press and did the cross cable extensions instead which hit the triceps much better.

I hear you. I have 3 kids myself. I opt for the morning workout due to the running around in the afternoons. Life is currently easier bc baseball/soccer for my son is done until the Spring. My girls just have recreational dancing as high school football is over, but she's about to be going to the basketball games.

And if I'm not on call, I'm in MS hunting. Few more weekends of hunting left bc we may lose our lease soon.
