Sort of. Doing Oak Tree on days off when I have time, usually Wednesday and Saturday. Started it after Joker but before we started Pool Season. For the most part it's seperate main lifts and I don't have the same ones back to back. I have a pretty sedentary job so unless I have something come up, I'm pretty rested. I'll be off schedule the next 2 weeks however due to kids functions. So I'll be doing Pool Season M-Th, Oak Tree Saturday, and off Friday/Sunday.

Enjoy the newborn. They only smell good (Dreft) and stay cute/little for so long.

If you eventually need a babysitter, hit me up. My daughter is a professional.

W3D3 done

Good solid day. I continued to push myself on the fill-in-the-blank lifts. Trying to get right to the edge before form suffers. I really enjoy the DB pullovers and RDLs. I can feel the pullovers down to my lower ribs and the DB RDLs get into a really deep position. I changed the squats to a 3 rep minimum and it felt really good also. I still absolutely hate rear lats. Those light up every time.

Off day today 35 mins treadmill walk/run intervals and 10min burpees (60)

I really need to ramp up the cardio on off days 2x a week.

What are y’all’s cardio/off day workouts?

Today I did some light barbell work. Pretty much just the normal warmup but then did it again with a little weight (95). Tried out some hang cleans and barbell reverse lunges (those got me). Threw in a few sets of machine flies because i never get to do them otherwise. Then did 15 minutes walking on treadmill to make it an even hour.

W3D1 down. That was a fun little workout. I only got the minimum of 5 on the amrap; I think I’ve lost a little strength on bench press with weight loss unfortunately.

For rest days, between day 2 and 3 I’ve been doing a quick Bodyweight workout (100 push-ups, 25 chin-ups, 50 hanging leg lifts) done in as few sets as I can manage). After day 4 I do either something outside (biking, hiking, kettlebell walk around block) or if it’s shitty weather I’ll burn 350-400 cals on the elliptical.

What a day fellas!

My wife went so fast overnight and then at 8:22 we started the push. Pushed for 3 hours and I met my beautiful little girl. She is perfect. I’m so in love.

Awesome!

Knocked out W3D3. I continue to hate DB pullovers ha, but o well. Really like DB RDLs so that makes up for it.

Also really enjoy these high set lower rep days on the core bench / squat lift.

I may have messed up on those bb reverse lunges yesterday. Glutes are feeling it and I don’t go to the gym until lunch.

W3D2
Deadlifts weren’t bad but after 2 days of laying sod they were probably harder than they would’ve been. I hate not having heavy DBs so I had to do all those rows with a barbell. Lower back is definitely feeling it

W3D4 done!

Today was very solid! Bench/Chinups was probably the easiest of the 4 supersets. Failed my last set of OHP at 9. Not too upset about it since I kept the same weight as the 5 rep sets. I increased my weight for the last 2 sets of skullcrushers and BB21s. That definitely increased the burn.

Taking tomorrow off.

I didn’t know I worked upper abs yesterday but these pullovers are telling me I did.

I guess it’s from the hang cleans?

W3D3 done. Reverse ladder was fun/challenging. Been running 90% TM but gonna bump it up to 95% for last week for a little more challenge. Definitely back adjusted to the barbell
