Been hitting a wall hard lately with my training. Started GSLP this week and feel incredibly weak and I usually eat somewhere around 7g net carbs daily. Today I’m going to eat about 83g of net and 108g of total carbs.

I’ll go back to strict keto tomorrow, but will report the results back on how I feel and how gym performance improves or decreases.

I can only imagine that the extra carbs will enhance your energy level. I can't function or train properly without heavy dose of carbs, but then again that just me.

I do GSLP, too. I cycle my carbs. Seems to work well for me.

Total is all the carbs you ingest. Net is the total minus fiber and some sugar alcohols.

Gotcha thanks. I’m keeping my First go at 83g to ease back into the carbs. I think the true CKD says eat as many carbs as possible on the refeeds. I don’t want to be out of commish for 3 days so I’ll ease into it.

I don't know, this is why I could never see myself doing the keto/low carb thing. I can't imagine being concerned about planning in a day of 100g kf carbs.

Different strokes for different folks.

I just looked that up. I work out, but I’m not in what you might call the advanced class. Of course having a stroke put a serious dent in my program.

Once you actually feel how amazing you feel, the mental clarity, and libido boost eating Atleast a 70/25/5 keto WOE it’s tough to want to go back to eating carbs.

Once you remember how amazing a glazed donut tastes, its tough to want to go back to not eating carbs.

I see a few benefits from near-zero carb, but the mental clarity is what has me addicted. I'm on fire at work. Ideas come to me so fast I surprise myself, I've actually killed a few high-profile meetings recently and actually found myself marveling at how I did. I rarely find myself saying "Uh" or "So" or any of the typical "my mind is trying to catch up to the conversation" tactics.

I'm on the verge of a big promotion because people are starting to notice.

I’ve been doing strict keto eating usually around <10g net carbs daily for 3 months and lazy keto for 5. You could place a buffet of the most award winning donuts in front of me and I would not have the urge whatsoever to eat one.
