Does beer really stunt recovery

So I smoked legs today but now I'm drunk af. I've heard that this could kill your recovery is this true or not

Yes. Alcohol kills training. It’s better to either ommit it entirely or drink only socially. I only drink on Saturdays, and it’s not a lot.

Beer destroys my endurance. Always has. I had to eventually stop drinking during football season in HS due to how it killed me in the sprints

No affect during powerlifting that I could ever notice.

The dehydration effect alone could hurt. Drink a few tall glasses of water while you're drinking or before you go to bed

Don't care. The only reason I workout is so that I can drink beer and whiskey on the weekends without being a fatass.

Supposedly yes but i like the taste of wine and whiskey and I’m never gonna be a professional athlete so no need to quit drinking imo.

Usually have 1 or 2 drinks a night 4 or 5 nights a week. Almost never go hard drinking these days. Just a drink while watching some football or Netflix.
