For those of you who do not drink tap water, do you ever use ice in your drinks? Isn't that the same as drinking tap water?

Ice would be drinking tap in moderation. I considered that when buying my under sink RO system. I drink at least a gallon of water a day. I don’t use a lot of ice but the ice I do use melted equates to maybe a half cup or so.

In the city where I live, Big Spring, Texas, halfway between El Paso and Dallas, tap water is notoriously bad. Very few people here drink it.

Those who live outside the city who have well water are far more fortunate.

The real question is what’s better, tap water, or water that’s been run through a 3 year old fridge filter. Maybe 1 out of 10 people will change the filter

I live in Baton Rouge. Some of the best water you'll find. I drink water from the tap all day every day.

How do you get non flouride water? Do you have a flouride filter?

We have a whole house filter/softener, it's great. I wouldn't likely have paid for it, but it was there when we moved in. Tap is fine, but the fridge has a filter too. We do actually change it once a year.

Our parish has good water with too much chlorine, I insisted on a four stage filter system in the new house.

There is zero smell of chlorine.

Great water.

Actually feel like after it goes through the fridge filter it tasted too flat
