What about the studies linking high amounts of artificial sweeteners to strokes
Post them please
Been a while since I read them but if not mistaken they were studies in rats and it was insane amounts that no human could ingest

Layne has debunked that, I’ll post it in a lil while

Yep because 90% of health benefits from a diet comes from the fat loss it self
We have talked about Twinkie diet on here, usually to point out how dumb people are and how they are always majoring in the minors

If sweeteners help you lose fat, which is incredibly healthy, they may even be net healthy for you.
See, this is buried at the end.
The ultimate difference between the groups appears to be 3 LB over a year. I'm less than convinced 3 LB exerts an incredibly healthy effect.
It's not a bad thing, for sure, but that conclusion also hints at some of the potential negative effects and the potential to offset them.
The takeaway should be moderate consumption of diet soda isn't terrible, but it isn't healthier than water.

And you know what? That's totally fair. However, to say that diet soda helps you lose weight is deceptive. How about just don't consume sugar that isn't naturally occurring? And even limiting that sugar? ABA won't say that because it's not the answer they want.
No it isn’t. Because it did. Not that it is anything special but it does help you control cravings as evidenced by this study

Same as water and not to mention blood sugar was better after a year and it wasn’t like 5 people on each side, it was over a hundred in each side of the coin
And remember they only were supposed to hold a deficit for 3 months, rest of the year was maintenance, so 3 lbs is significant
For those asking about the cancer scare from some of these sweeteners, here is laynes response

I usually drink about a gallon of water a day and usually throw in 1-2 coke zero's.
The Coke Zero's help satisfy a sweet tooth and are also much more filling than just water

and ftr, if you can get away with just having water, that is better but if you can grab a coke zero instead of a piece of cake...thats better too.

Would the carbonation in diet soda also give a sense of feeling full so eating less calories with meal?

President Not Sure knew that using water (like out of the toilet) on the crops would solve the famine, he has a genius. I'm sure he also solved the problems with the trash(put it in the ocean, duh)

Speaking of the drink and soda industry all kinds of screw ups going on. Its why I don't drink any of this shite the manufactures don't even know what they are being cross contaminated with or even if the right product is in the bottle/can.

Nearly 30 beverages have been recalled by the FDA in 2024 so far, with the majority pulled from shelves for containing harmful ingredients.
All but four (86 percent) of the 28 were recalled because they contained something the company had not declared - including drugs, bacteria and harmful chemicals.

I don’t care what anyone says, after months of no sweets and very limited sugar a Diet Coke tastes like wedding cake. It’ll turn your day around.
