Took some 80lbs dumbbells for a ride this morning. Been doing barbell bench instead the last few months.

3x8 with 80 lb dumbbells is putting in work. It’s hard to calculate max on that though. But don’t max out using dumbbells. Not the safest way to max.

About 350.
Seriously, though, db to barbell and 3x8 both involve a lot of conversion variables. It's definitely decent strength, but carryover differs a lot person to person.

So far so good this week. Two good workouts in and ready for today. Lost 10lbs in the last month, haven't been under 220 in years.

I've been doing the work, just not posting it. Pre-holiday squeeze at work plus maybe getting death threats...it's been weird.
Friday I got heavy bench and dead. Bench went very well, 260 flew. Dead, not so much.
Monday, set or tied a rep pr with 225 on bench. 10 reps is within reach.
Last night, dynamic lower. It moved well and form was on point. For work being crazy, lifting's been solid.

Chest today.
Felt pretty good so wanted to go heavy at the beginning. Knocked out 275 fairly easy, only one rep. Pretty confident the second would have gone up no problem but didn't want to risk it.
Dropped to 225 (9 reps) then 205 x 10 barely. Finished with flies, incline BB, then weighted dips which murdered me.

I use the JeFit app to track my workouts and progress. They have exercises and animated previews on them.
