Doing thrusters with a single dbell is a good sub that I use for wall balls as well if you’re ever in a pinch.

Thanks. I switched to 2 25 lb DBs thinking that would be similar to bar thrusters. I was wrong.

Strength - Clean and jerks, hit 175 a couple times, had 185 but couldn’t get under it
Conditioning - Row 500m @ 2:10-2:15 pace, rest 1 minute, Row 500m @ 2:05-2:10 pace, rest 1 minute, Row 500m @ 2:00-2:05 pace, rest 1 minute, Row 500m @ 1:55-2:00 pace, rest 1 minute, Row 500m as fast as possible
After the third set there was not a fricking chance I could keep that pace
Then
10 min AMRAP
3-6-9 and back down
Kettle bell swings at 53lbs
Push ups
Toes to bar

The registration for the open is down 50%

5 rounds of 30s each arm then 30 sec rest KB row
5 x 5 DL 135 lb
Push ups 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1
5 rounds of 30 seconds then 30 rest bicycle kicks
5 rounds of 30 sec each arm KB dead clean press with 30 sec rest in between

Did Margaux work for Crossfit?
She’s been doing other stuff these last few months: American Ninja Warrior Qual, Worlds Longest Drive comp and her family’s wine business.
The laid off Rory McKernan last week. You would think they would do it after the Open, not before.
Crossfit was growing fast these past few years because of the CF Games, not because of middle-aged moms joining a local affiliate.This move by CFHQ will do more harm than good.
Tomorrow’s workout is
A. Bench 3x3 climbing
B. 10 min AMRAP: 8 Thrusters 95/65 and 2 rope climbs.
Goal is 290-295x3
No idea on B since I haven’t done a workout with multiple RCs in a few weeks.. The gash of my leg from rope climbs in Miami JUST healed 4 weeks later.

It was 21.38, they charged tax this year for some reason. Considering it is clearly a service this was surprising to me
