It was definitely a cold start but it ended up being a nice day start of the 2nd workout. Very well coordinated/fun event and I hope they do it at Tad Gormley in the future.

Today..

A. Back Squat 3x5 climbing
B: 7RFT: 7 Wallballs, 7 CTB pull-ups, 7 burpees

A: 315 final set
B: 12:23 Rx


Didn’t really push the WOD until the last round. My cardio still sucks.

Going back at 6 while my son hits the class while I do an arm workout.

Monday at 6: Arms
Wednesday at 6: Legs/Shoudlers
Friday at 6: Chest/Back

I’ll hit the noon class at least 4 days during the week.

Tues/Thur 5:30-6:30: Running

Strength - EMOM 15 rounds 3 deadlifts at 315lbs

Conditioning - Start of week 2 in the breathing fire program

5 400 meter sprints at 85%+ each sprint round you have 4 mins. So the faster you go the more recovery time

then did an 8 min AMRAP
5 kettle bell swings at 62lbs
5 dead hang pull ups
5 box jumps
5 push ups

Strength - front squats 5x3 185,185,205, 225,225 then a 245 single

Conditioning - 1 min on, 1 min off max effort row for ten rounds

12 min AMRAP
10 wall balls at 20lbs
10 burpees
10 push press at 95lbs

Then

5x5 Bench
3x12 DBell Incline Bench
3x10 DBell Fly


Trying to mix crossfit with some "bodybuilding" type stuff.

Straight conditioning today

First workout

On the buzzer every six minutes a 800 meter sprint, 4 800s total

Then 15 min AMRAP
3-6-9-12 and back down

Alternating dumbbell snatches at 50lbs
Dead hang pull ups
Pushups
Toes to bar

These breathing fire conditioning workouts have me so smoked I don’t want to do anything after

4x max reps strict pullups
3x10 One arm row with barbell

Then

20 alternating dbell snatch
20 box jump overs
20 alternating dbell snatch
Rest 1:00 between rounds

cals on the assault bike

Working today and missed our morning sessions. Probably going to go to my apartment gym and get a couple Thundrbro (Yes its douchey, and yes its physique not strength based, but its fun ) finishers and call it a day. Finally starting to get my weight back up after vacation and time out of the gym.

A. Deadlift 3x3 climbing
B. 3-6-9-6-3 Push Press 135/95 & BF Burpees

A. Finished at 355x3
B. 3:49 Rx

355 was rather light, but I’m steadily climbing back up in DL and Squat so I’ll take this and increase next week.

Couldn’t stay in rhythm on the push presses. I went unbroken every set but not as fast as I wanted to go,

Lunch: 7 ozs smoked sirloin, garlic mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts.

I’ll be back in the gym at 6 for an arm workout. Same lifts as last week but I’ll adjust the movement order.

That was my first workout in 2 weeks, been sick. Was just running fever 2 days ago.

I did 275 on DLs, did 95lb push press and finished in 4:58.


That metcon killed my lungs. They're still full of phlegm and shite and got really inflamed. Coughed for hours afterwards. Probably should've just gone in and lifted in the small room.

Today was one of those days my body told me not to push it, honestly if I didn’t have a garage set up I would have not done shite

Feeling pretty beat up so will probably deaload this week and focus more on conditioning

Strength worked up to a 405 x 2 deadlift

Conditioning

EMOM 10 round

5 double kettle bell swings at 35lbs
5 dead hang pull ups

Tried this one today. Got through first 2 rounds loving it, went back to bar for round 3 and some jackass started using it. So, I switched to 25 lb DB thrusters and it changed the entire workout. Ugh.

Finished with 8 rounds of tabata 1 min planks
