Terrible crash and burn..

A2: 4 Rx
A3: 3+13 Rx

Shoulders were smoked heading into this workout.

I've never done them, and I really want to, but I don't want to do them the same day as DL and following as hard as I rowed yesterday. I am really starting to have to watch what I do with the low back. Especially if I still want to play golf from time to time.

Monday was:
20 rounds:
1 heavy squat clean thrusters
3 dead lifts
5 pullups

Tuesday was:
30 min EMOM
Min 1: 12 cal Assault Bike (always first one off bike)
Min 2: 8 burpee box jumps (always last one doing these)
Min 3: Rest
for 10 rounds.

Wednesday is:
Tigerdeacon waking up in the fetal position with everything hurting and deciding today is a rest day.

5 Rounds for Max Calories (accumulated)

1 Minute AMRAP
5 Deadlift (245/175)
AMRAP Calorie Row
Rest 2 Minutes

Each round was an all-out dead sprint. I DL'd 225 each round, but that didn't get tallied into the total. Just row calories. I got 78 calories.

Strength - worked up to a 215 power clean

Conditioning - EMOM 10 rounds

Odd rounds 5 double dumbbell snatches at 35lbs and 5 head hang pull ups
Even rounds 5 kettle bell swings and 5 dead hang pulls

second workout

12 min AMRAP
6 alternating dumbbell snatches
200 meter run
5 push ups
10 toes to bar

thought i was going to puke by the 3 round

but my new Onnit kettle bells are money.

I did this workout immediately after the Olympic Lifting class which had a shitload of AMRAP snatches at 70%, 80% and 90%.

Rx weight at 245 on those deadlifts,

Hit 22 cals in R1 and fell off the map after that. Each subsequent round, my legs didn’t want to push after 10 cals and I finished with 80.

All sets 8x8 with 3 second negative and :30 second rest between except for the sumo deadlifts, those are just 8x8.

Event 6 looked terrible

3 round sprint intervals
Assault Bike Cals
Ring MUs
BBBJOs at 24"

Each round is 3 min each with 2 min rest. You advanced the box every 15-20 reps or so down the course for something like 80-100 reps. The box would stay where you completed the previous sprint round and you would pick up where you left off in an effort to finish the 80-100 total reps.

Davidsdottir is leading the Women by 24 points through 6 events with 4 more left.

Houdet, Sweeney, and Sager are 1-3 for the men, separated by 14 points.

You can tell the strength of the field by who is where in the rankings. Sweeney wasn't even close to the podium 2 weeks ago at Wodapalooza and here is in South Africa down 8 from a games spot.

Sager should make a move in E7 since it's a squat clean event.
