I like that.

I’m so slow on sit ups that I only have to burpee for like 45 seconds. I may not get in double digits!!!

This is probably my best thing in relation to the strong people there.

I can compete at DL and anything cardio, not bad at lifts up to shoulder level, but if I have to go overhead my left shoulder just won't let me do much. It even hurts me on anything on the rack.

My shoulders are my weakest link by far. I guess because I've always sat at desks and slouched, they're just fricked. I warm up before most WODs with banded exercises that force me to retract my scaps and pull my chest up.
Reverse flys, Face pulls, for example. Then I stretch all of that out so that I can get into the right positions, especially for anything involving front rack and overhead. Over time it'll get better but there's a lifetime of slouching to make up for. My 1RM strict OH press is like 115-120lb.

Yeah, I usually work on my shoulders a bit before the warm up even if we aren't doing any shoulder movements. Sitting at a desk isn't the best for it and I have come to realize I usually sleep on my left side with my shoulder tucked forward. Been trying to minimize that as I think it make it worse.

I just can't get back in the OHS position and hold up any weight.

Shoulders are what delayed me joining Crossfit for a long time. I just assumed it would be bad for me. I've had bilateral injections, and was told I was close to surgery on the right. Now? My shoulders are the best they have been in 15 years.

I did it at lunch. Finished swings and situps at 1:30 every time. I did 74 burpees. Better than I thought.

That's why I didn't avoid the OHS workout. I know I need to get better and won't unless I keep at it.

25min AMRAP
10 DB Snatch Right Side 50/35
10 DB Front Rack Lunge Right Side
10 DB Snatch Left Side
10 DB Front Rack Lunge Left Side
30 sec plank from hands
30 sec break

6+23 Rx

Only a few have used the Rx weight. Most guys rolled with the women’s weight.

Legs are starting to feel it now after all the work since Friday. I’ll probably bench tomorrow.

B.)5 Rounds for Time

If you place is like mine, they are ramping you up for the Open.

Today's workout is 2 Open workouts.

12.1 7 min Burpees

then

11.5 20min AMRAP
5 power cleans 145/100
10 t2b
15 wb 10/14

I'm too beat up from going every day this week. I think today will be a 50-40-30-20-10 cal AB/Row day during open gym to get some cardio in and get the blood flowing.

Did an arm workout today using a 10-8-6-15 method with 15 second rest. Don't know how good that is for strength but the pump was awesome.

5 rounds

15 push press
21 front squat
400 m run

After first round I no longer watched time, instead just tried to finish without dying. Much harder/better of a workout than I thought it was going to be

I’ll probably knock that out tomorrow or Sunday
