I would have preferred back squats, but fronts are ok. I don't hate burpees anymore if they are 10 or under.

My knees are my problem. Squats of any kind kill me. I was recently told that I squat too slow and don't get the benefit of any rebound off the bottom of my squat. Basically, I don't trust me knees and therefore squat too slow and thus overwork them.

I was deposing an orthopedic surgeon about a month ago. After it was over, he seemed to be in no hurry to leave. I asked him what single exercise he thought was the most dangerous. He said squats because of the stress on the knees. I did not like hearing that.

Fun.

Do you drop the weight on those. I don't think i will on mine. I often get a huge bounce to the left.

A: Snatch Balance x2 every 90 secs for 7:30
95x2
115x2
135x2
155x2
165x2

B: Snatch EMOM for 10 min.. Kept it power due to knee
Sets 1-5: 60% 135
Sets 6-10: 65% 145

C: Squats 4x10
Sets 1-2 at 55% 175
Sets 3-4 at 60% 190

Kept the squats light as well.

We have a rule about no dropping weights above waist height on power snatches, basically because of the bounce.

I died on that workout. After the Randy WOD a couple of weeks ago I thought I was good on the power snatch, but this killed me. Burpees and ski/row wasn't bad but the snatches were deadly.

Deadlifts...
60%x8
70%x6
80%x4
90%x2

Finished at 365

Tabata DL at 135 coupled with burpees. Alternate between DL and Burpees for the 8 rounds.

10 minutes EMOM

3 thrusters 95#
Max clean and jerks with remaining minute

Your score is how many clean and jerks You get.

I got 65 which seems to be middle of the pack.

The first round of Tabata DL at 135 felt like I was standing up without a Barbell because the difference from 365 back to 135 is huge.

Burpees are what sucked.

Been back all week after dealing with some arm issue. Just haven’t been posting. Today was:
STRENGTH
ON A 10:00 CLOCK
Build to a Set of 3 TNG Deadlift
Worked up to 325. Would have kept going up but 10 minutes goes fast. Felt good though!

WORKOUT
AMRAP x 18 MINUTES
5 Bar Facing Burpees
15 Deadlift (225)
45 Double Unders (90 singles)
5 rounds plus 20

I worked up to 305x2.

I did assault bike for calories in lieu of burpees. I'm still on a strict no squat or lunge order, and one I get tired i wind up landing low on burpees. bike still sucked lol.

90.
