I had the damper set on 7.5 and was getting a cal per pull for the first half of the WOD and slowed down later to conserve energy for the push-ups.

Foot taught me this. Getting to be decent at rowing now considering I might be the world's tallest midget.

I'm 6'2, so I have a distinct advantage on the rower if I emphasize the length of my pull.

This always leaves me wheezing for hours after... some serious suck.

It will be the first time I do it. So I’m sure I’ll push too hard in round 1 and almost puke by round 3.

FGB used to be my Saturday go to.

I had a 325 once, but that almost kilt me. I aim for 100 rep rounds and make up a ton on the push presses

I wind up with diaphragm cramps every time. Exercise-induced asthma's a PITA. I have a rescue inhaler but you can't exactly stop in the middle of FGB to go get a hit... by the time I am feeling the effects it's too late.

Doc said I can take a hit 30 min prior. Just don't always think about it. Hadn't struggled with the asthma since Jr high sports so it's not in my routine.

Cash what can I work on to better myself at squat cleans? It’s just an awkward motion for me to get the hang of.

lots of front squats

you have to make the rack position feel second nature

also it makes you feel comfortable being under the bar

and of course just working on mobility is always a huge help, arse to grass front squats will help improve range of motion

I feel like with squats cleans you have to be ready to be explosive as well

Yea I always did front squats with my arms crossed so I’m having to get used to the front rack position.

I managed some nice handstand holds and did some short handstand walks after class.

I worked on jumps and hand positioning on DUs and didn’t really keep track. Sucked, mostly.

Heard the games guys have a 42,000 meter row as last workout day1.

I rowed 15k one time. I can’t imagine what it would feel like to row three times that much
