"Four by Four"
EMOM x 16 (4 rounds)
Minute 1: 7 WB (20/14) + 7 CTB
Minute 2: 15 Box Jumps (24/20)
Minute 3: 7 Power snatches (95/65) + 7 OHS (95/65)
Minute 4: 15/12 cal row

This was tough. By round 3 there was barely any rest. I was able to finish everything in a minute except for the last round of snatches and OHS.

Also, I'm now starting to experience really sharp headaches while doing OHS. Anyone else experience this?

That sounds miserable!

I enjoy seeing all the different WODs so I can do some at home or at the gym. Not a member of a crossfit gym but enjoy the workouts.

Agreed, it's nice to get an idea on what else everyone is doing.

As for this morning's workout:
10 min row
10 min ski erg
10 min bike erg
ROMWOD

Nothing crazy, waiting to see what 18.4 is tonight.

I skipped today. Three straight days is about all I can handle, and I'm pretty sore. Besides, it was a partner wod of 500 meter run plus max calorie row. My poor partner would have died on the rower while I struggle to get around the building.

Around the world 20 min, relaxed pace
OH KB carry
Box step ups
Plank
Row

Then ROMWOD and chill. I like these low key WODs sometimes, it'd be nice to do one then get to some heavy lifts.

Hell of a WOD for 18.4. I am gonna do 21 Rx deadlifts to submit then hit the rest of the WOD scaled. I can't do enough regular pushups to get through the scaled WOD so I'm gonna have to do knee pushups.

Yep, I'm just gonna blow through the first set of deads and be happy with that. I'll attempt some HSPU but I don't expect to get close to the set of 15 rep deads. Then again I seem to zone out and surprise myself with figuring out movements I suck at when I'm competing like this so who knows what'll happen.

Today's WOD for the gym is re-do 18.4. Or work out in the open area if you don't want to re-do 18.4.

I'm kinda sitting on the fence. I know I can get more reps in if I just do the scaled version, but I also really want to work on snatch and clean technique.

We did dead lift last Wednesday, so no way I'd repeat 18.4.

1 Squat clean every 30 seconds for 25 minutes. Not sure which weight I will do yet, either 185 or 205 I think

Got my first ever string of kipping pull-ups today. It was pretty satisfying since I've been working on that a little extra in he last month.

Nice!!

I redid 18.4, scaled the scaled version down to knee pushups again. Did 111 reps this time so a little better. The pushups just wreck me, weak af

I thought they were going to kill me, but I got through those unscaled. The bump up in he weight on those deadlifts was just shocking to me. When I would break, I really didn't want to start up again.

Did 18.4 today and struggled with the new HSPU standard, and I’m actually very good at HSPUs.

Tomorrow is wall balls and CTB pull-ups.

My guess for 18.5 is Fran with DB thrusters and CTB as a A part of the workout, followed by wall balls and snatches as a B part.

Did my first ever morning workout today. Wow was that different. No one stayed but me for part C. One set of GHD sit ups and extensions, and I was done. Nothing left at all.

I’ve been doing A.M. workouts the last few weeks around 8-10.

Today was:

Back squats: Warmups, 275x4, 300x4, 315x4

Class workout: 12min AMRAP
3-6-9-12-15-18-etc
Wall Balls/CTB Pull-ups

125Rx... Died on the 18 CTB pull-ups.

Ours was a 10-1 DB presses then row 200. As those sets got smaller, it felt like I could never get off the rower. Those morning girls never stop

If I didn't have to get up so damn early to accommodate early am workouts I'd like them. But I'd rather avoid getting up at 4:15-4:30am..
