I skipped today.

Main WOD is Power Cleans at 3x3 heavy across with 2-3 min between each set. Not touch and go, but clean/drop/reset x3 for 3 sets. Two days of clean/snatch work and my body is saying not today.

Main lift: 1 rep max for a pause front squat (3 second hold at the bottom)

WOD: Every 3 min for 15 min: 300m Row & 95lb thrusters with a partner.

I ended up hitting a PR on the squats and didn't even realize it. I got #325 easily out of the pause but stopped there since we were running short on time for the WOD. I need to max again without the pause; last time was October and I only lifted #315.

I went. I feel my cleans being smoother. I was hitting 155, which I think is a PR.

I was hoping to get to 300 on the 4seconds down. 295 was as much as I could do.

Story of my life. I am always rushing to put up weights to get started.

And 325 is a nice weight for a FS with 3 seconds at bottom.

Thanks! I was pleasantly surprised at how light it felt compared to 315 a few months ago. I get excited any day squats or deadlifts are in the program Really hoping for a deadlift ladder on 18.4, I'd be in heaven.

My max FS is 335 without a pause.

Probably 305, at best, with a pause.

Today’s workouts.. Lifted before the class.

Bench: Warmups, 255x6, 260x5, 270x4
Incline DB: 90x9, 90x7

9AM Class:
20 min AMRAP with a Partner.
400M row
5 DB Thrusters 50/35
7 CTB Pull-ups
9 Burpees over the DB

One partner rows 400M while the other performs an AMRAP of the 5-7-9 workout. Switching at 400M on the row. Score is distance rowed and rounds completed of the 5-7-9.

4040M
10+8

My partner scaled the DB weight down and I went Rx.

This evening:

Muscle Clean into a Squat: 120x4x3
Pull, Power Clean, Pull, Clean: 175x1.1.1.1, 185x1.1.1.1/3
FS+Jerk: 175, 185x2, 195, 205

I was hoping the owner was going to build some more platforms and get some colorful plates and expensive bars. But he was dead set on Air Runners and bikes.
