I had never done more than 30 ctb in a workout

Very much so. My partner was the first of the day to complete it Rx. He finished at 18:58 and was dead. Coach had him walk laps to cool down.

Did scaled and got thru the round of 9 on thrusters. I wanted to die. Looking back I could’ve finished if I would’ve started out with the jumping pull ups from the beginning.

Went Rx. Looked like a moron putting tape on my hands under my grips. tape slipped off after the round of 33. Only made it to 24 CTB out of the 27. Hands ripped. Probably should have scaled

I got 11 CTB in the round of 21. I had to go to singles in the round of 33. That was an extremely difficult workout.

I’m doing it at lunch on Monday.

My plan is singles on a low pull-up bar from the beginning and trying to go big on Thrusters. I may even try to go unbroken on the first set of 33 just for the hell of it.

I doubt I hit my goal, but it’s ~10 min to finish the 33 & 27 rounds and just hope I can stay moving for CTB Fran.

I strongly recommend not going unbroken. Break it up as much as possible.

I don’t know you. But I have paid attention to your workouts. I would not advise unbroken.

I did 20 and 13 and wish I would’ve broke up more than that.

I went 10 10 7 in the next one and was much better off going to the bar.

I do ctb as slow singles. They took forever.
My shoulders feel like they are 30perce t of normal today

Did it Rx and got 149 reps....into the round of 21 CTB. I broke up the thrusters in 5s and dropped to 4s and 3s eventually. Did all the CTB as kipping singles. Although they were slow, it wasn’t muscle fatigue on these, it was trying to control my breathing from the thrusters.

Got 141 Rx. And I can attest to going low sets on thrusters. Top layer of skin seperated on set of 27 c2b. When I finished the 21 thrusters, I couldn’t talk myself into getting back on the bar. Everybody had bloody hands.

But. Not. Me.

I did 23 unbroken at Wodapalooza (2 no reps.. ) in one event.

I know I will hit a wall on CTB, so why not go full send on the first 33 thrusters?

I am sure that ctb are easier for you than me, but when I got to breathing too hard I could basically not even get up on the bar

I thought the first set of 33 was surprisingly easy then went over to the bar and just never caught my breath. The CTB were not terrible as far as fatigue, just so time consuming for me.

Strength:
Pausing back squat (3 sec)
5 sets of 3 (build to 75% of 1RM)

WOD:
3 Rounds
400 m run
30 WBs (20/14)
400 m run
30 DB hang C&J (50/35)

Hell yes. I'm going to love this WOD.

Ripped in the set of 27 pull-ups and was chipping away at the 21 pull-ups at the cap.

147Rx

Went 13-10-10, 9-9-9, 7-5-5-4 on the thrusters.

Rip probably cost me a couple of minutes. I may have gotten back to round of 15 if I had not.

Attacked the rip with gorilla glue this evening.
