I’ll be limited to single ctbs. If this was a long one I would do better. But I’ll just be too slow.

Put your barbell very close to the pull-up rig. If you're doing singles, you can't waste time in transition.

I my go by at lunch just to see what singles are like. If I can do them at all, I might do Rx. In the end, I'll decide which way gives me the best work out.

I should do decent at this one......I can butterfly C2B. I'll probably go unbroken on everything thru the round of 9 and then try to keep my thrusters unbroken and break up the C2b into 2 or 3 sets.

I did 76 reps in Jan 2016. I feel like I'm not going to fair as well this go around. I frigging loathe Thrusters, and I don't think there is another single movement that kills my mental fortitude more during a workout. frick em.

Glad you said that because while my goal is 100, I will likely be lucky to hit 75. Im not good at any form of pull up and they will definitely drain the clock. I will be fine with thrusters, but anything taking energy away from the next round of c2b isn't good.

Aim to hit negative splits when you break them up. Ex: On the set of 9, do 5 reps first, break, then finish with 4. Or you could go 6/3. On 12 reps, 7/5 or 8/4. You'll always have more energy & power for the first reps in the set so you might as well use it efficiently. This works well for me on C2B. Thrusters I might push it more just bc I'm comfortable with the movement

Just did it. Being one week out of having the flu diagnosed and 5 days post strep.

I thought I would die. Heart rate was so high after nines I basically quit. The thrusters bust you in the nutsack to put it scientifically. And I consider myself better than most at thrusters.

Will redo Monday. I spent about 49% of my time sitting in the plate of the barbell trying to figure out if I was going to die

I think I like thrusters. I'll know in about an hour. Considering how easy the jump ups will be, it's going to be the thrusters that do me in. As you know, I like me some rest breaks.

76 Rx. Probably got no reps on 8 CTB. I was sucking bigly with then today. Had to do the 15 thrusters unbroken since there was only 50 seconds left on the clock once I got to them. I'll redo it Monday, maybe I'll have better luck with the CTB

If I feel better I think I get back to the ctb on 15s. As it was today I almost finished 12s while playing grab arse

118 scaled. Just a matter of being out of breath as always with me. Breaks late in the rounds we're just too long.

55 Rx. Definitely should have scaled. I was flying through the thrusters but I’m terrible at C2B. Was gassed and did singles the whole time. Hoping I’ll have butterflys down next year after a full year of CF workouts and can feel better about Rxing most workouts.

86Rx

Stayed unbroken on all the Thrusters and chipped away at the CTBs. I started getting no reps in the later rounds.

Redo on Monday. We did wall balls and CTB (12 min AMRAP) with the same rep scheme on Wednesday and I was still feeling it.

Hoping for 110 on the redo.

Good job. When I do it again I don't plan on breaking up the thrusters either. I should've saved that for the CTB.

I got 90rx. I broke everything into 6 until the last round of 15 which I did unbroken so my mind wouldn’t quit before the clock.

I didn’t get too gassed here but my forearms blew up like Popeye and I couldn’t grip for shite. That was extremely painful at the end.
