Hey guys, I’ve got my home gym setup with a few horse stall mats but having issues cleaning them. A regular swiffer mop doesn’t like to run smoothly as it sticks to the mat. I bought a big commercial cotton head mop as well and it leaves a cotton residue on the black mats that looks awful.

What are y’all using?

Vacuum weekly or so

Get down and wipe with a washcloth about every 3 months

Ha! Well it’s doubling as a dog training area for when it’s raining and my wife trains some clients in there as well.

The space is about 750sq ft so to clean with a rag on my hands and knees would not be so fun.

Vacuum and if they’re nasty you can mop.

You know they make non-cotton mops, right?

I guess this is my next plan of action. Was just looking for some affirmation from others before I tried something else.

oh ok. you can get a bristle brush on a broom stick, pour the clean solution on the mats, brush with the bristle brush and then squeegee off

How heavy are these things? I've thought about getting one for under our bike, but I would like to be able to move it out and hose it off every now and then. We have the bike in my home office, which is off of our covered deck. It would be moving it about 15 feet and hanging it on the deck railing and hosing it down.

One of the worst parts when I moved a couple years ago was moving these things from my old house to the new one.

Put some of these under the kids playhouse. They are definitely a bitch to wrestle with. Had to cut one too - pain in the arse. Work great when down on the ground.

I blow mine off with a leaf blower.

Use electric spin mop to clean it a little.
