What's the cheapest non-supplement food for protein? I.e. most value for money in regards to protein

Ground pork is the cheapest meat at my grocery store. I can get it under $2/lb. 21g of protein for every 3oz.

Isn't peanut butter an incomplete protein source, but is complete paired with certain grains? Vaguely remember reading that somewhere. If that's true then probably peanut butter and oatmeal or whatever is the cheapest protein source but obviously has alot of fat and carbs too.

Egg whites, tuna and pb are all expensive per gram of protein. It's bulk chicken breast and thighs and bulk ground beef/turkey.

This isn't complicated. Rice is the cheapest carb.

Honestly some of y'all have ocd on all of this shite and complicate everything.

True story.... sometimes when I visit this board I feel like everyone is a design engineer, nitpicking every thing, never taking the simplest path and always parallelized by over analysation. The parallels are uncanny.

I don't know where you live but here in NOLA I just wait til chicken breast goes on sale (2.99/lb) and then buy in bulk. Sous vide a batch every few days.
