Can You Eat Too Much Fruit?

So lately I've been wondering if I should cutback on my fruit intake.
A little background, I basically don't eat any of what I would call grain or starch carbs. I have no clue if that's a real term, but basically no rice, bread, potatoes, etc. I also don't eat anything with processed or artificial sugar added.
At the same time, I eat a ton of fruit. I've always been told that because it's got natural sugars as well as fiber that it's basically harm-free. I usually eat about 2 bananas a day, an apple, and a couple of those store-bought pre-sliced fruit packages.
Is this too much? Any time I had a craving growing up, the parents always just said to grab some fruit and was never allowed any sort of junkfood (yea they were the strict ones) so now it's all that I crave.
Should I cut back on this? I'm not overweight at all, but I don't know if that much sugar is bad for my overall health or not. TIA!

Of course.

natural sugars
Same thing as grabbing a spoon of the same amount out of the shite in a bag.
I avoid it because any sugar makes me crave more sugar, but it's also not going to kill you.

I can tell you’re still brainwashed by the sugar lobby. Yes sugar will definitely kill you. Have you ever heard of diabetes?

From foodandnutrition.org

Why bananas, specifically, get a bad rap in the fruit world, I'm not too sure. Their stats are pretty similar to many other popular fruits. For instance, like a banana, a medium apple contains around 100 calories and less than 0.5 grams fat. The apple also contains 19 grams of sugar and less protein than a banana. And one cup of seedless grapes provides 23 grams of sugar, with less fiber and less protein than a banana. In addition, bananas contain:
17 percent daily value of vitamin C, which is vital for strong immunity, youthful-looking skin and fighting oxidative damage.
422 milligrams or 12 percent daily value of potassium, which is important for heart health, lowers blood pressure, reduces the risk of stroke and blocks the absorption of dietary cholesterol.
22 percent daily value of vitamin B6, which is a vital co-factor in the production of feel-good hormones serotonin and norepinephrine.

Let's get this out of the way. For the keto/snake/urine dieters, fruit may get a very negative reaction.
Fruit has a ton of important micronutrients. It is not the worst sugar you can get into. That said, it is sugar and excess sugar will eventually add up.
How is your health and blood work? The ultimate question about whether it's too much is answered by your overall health.

Big difference between sugars from fruit and sugar from the packet are the fibers. The fiber combined with the sugars help your body slow down the absorption of sugar. Natural Sugars and added sugars are very different.
Now if we are talking about juicing or fruit juices, this is a very different matter but please don't avoid eating apples, peaches and berries. They are very good for you.

This is what I always thought. Good stuff, thanks!

Sounds expensive with the prepackaged grocery packs.
5+ a Day is a lot. Depends if you’re using those sugars or not. I usually only eat 1-2 pieces a day myself but I do eat some starch carbs like sweet potatoes often. Do what makes you feel good

Sugar from an apple > sugar from a donut. That being said, you don't want to eat 12 apples per day. Moderation.....

This is the ultimate answer. There was a previous thread on this that got a bit heated.
Fruit is loaded in sugar. So are candy bars. One give you tons of other minerals and vitamin you need. The other does not. Choose accordingly and in moderation.
