So i ordered some equipment, mainly will do like squats and deadlifts.
I am trying to set this up in a third bedroom that has engineered hardwood.
Would a horsestall mat or like a built platform be okay on them? Or should I put like a rug underneath that?

Well as soon as I want to order my squat stand it is now sold out. Damnit, worst timing ever

The struggle is real. Had my RM-4 rack sitting in the cart and all was good. Was going to order as soon as Rogue’s freeze was up.
About an hour before the freeze was lifted the rack and dip bar showed up as “out of stock” in my cart. FML.
The wait will be worth it. Took a deep dive into Sorinex but at the end of the day their shipping killed it. Both will keep their value if I ever want to sell, but I lose out on the extra shipping Sorinex charges no matter what.

How much was Sorinex asking for shipping
Don’t they have someone install the rack for you
I’m moving to NC soon so I don’t see the shipping to there being that much, shite I might go pick it up since they are in SC.
That dark horse rack is calling my name

Reps new rack is as nice as the rogue FTR, but rogue had nicer accessories.

Anyone know anything about fray fitness in Memphis? They look newer to the home gym have but have some commercial stuff available as well. I'm not finishing much in the way of reviews for their racks.

Rogue will hold its value much more I assume too.

I have some urethane bumpers from Fray and they’re actually good quality. I’ve had them for over a year and use them often. Only complain is that I only bought 1 pair of the bumpers to see if they were nice or not. I waited until they had a sale to order some more. By that time they raised the price of the urethanes so I ordered the comp bumpers instead. They didn't have a picture of the plates online but when they came in they were red. Not a huge deal but I don’t know why they would have a different color for those. Shipping is a little high on some things but they have sales around most holidays.

Competition plates are color coded. No matter which manufacturer you get them from

Maybe to the uneducated. The new rep 5000 series is as good as the rogue monster and sorinex and in fact the zero gap bench is the best bench cost no object, but rogue has much bigger name.

So, the small cage type vs the squat rack with bar? How choose?

I have a squat stand vs a rack.
Differences, IMO:
Squat stand will be cheaper. It's slightly more space efficient, but not by a huge amount, just by being easier to maneuver around.
Rack provides more safety, especially for bench. It's usually impossible to set the squat stand safeties low enough to catch you on bench, but you can with most racks. The one you posted does seem like the safeties go low on the stand, though.
Racks allow for rack pulls in a way a stand won't. Racks are better for kipping pullups or something that requires shaking the rack. Beyond that, they are fairly comparable, IMO.

If you're not a big guy and have some plates on those two storage points on the back, the stand won't move much.
I can use mine for kipping pull-ups and I'm 200lbs. If you don't bolt down the rack, it'll also move on kipping pull-ups since you're on the outside (vs centered on the squat stand).

My titan even with four 45s weighing it down still shakes when I’m re racking or doing toes to bar
Putting it on a horse stall mat reduces it some what
