Full rack is much safer. Followed by half rack then squat rack. Squat rack should be last choice of the 3 and if you gonna go that away might as well get a yoke.

What about reps 1000 series full rack? I'm not throwing around huge weight and probably never will. I need some economical that can fit in a space that has 8 foot ceilings, and is 125" wide x 70" deep. I was going with a squat stand but reps prices are too good on the full racks.

Not even sure if they make the 1000 series anymore or any fo the 14g racks.

I can tell you from experience, I would not do it. I had a failed bench rep that I placed on a weider safety bar that was on my 14g rack and it started to bend and it sit down gently and it was only like 240 lbs.

Personally I feel everyone's best bet is to look for a wall mount rack that is 3x3 and 11g. If you do that, you are never going to have to worry or regret buying it. Although not as safe as a full rack they are much safer than just stands. The 11g will never bend or give, any. The 3x3 with 1/2"-5/8" holes allows you to use any of the rogue monster lite accessories, along with Titan, reps and elitefts.

Honestly better to get a wall mount from titan than the pr-1000 imo.

X4, I'll look into something beefier, may just wait until rogue gets their stuff back in stock. They said they are opening up the popular stuff to order tomorrow at some time. Rep has an eta of mid may for the 4000 & 5000 stuff.

You talking about the fold out racks that mount to the wall?

Picked this up in BR today and put together this afternoon. Need to drill it to the wall and cement. Need to put my wall ball target on it.

Heads up Rogue said last night they will stop producing equipment during all this craziness

Most their shite is running out of stock and they will be focusing on producing medical equipment and supplies

That is honorable AF, but this is literally the 1 time when they would sell more than ever

Straight outside in South Louisiana? That’s brave. That bar is going to be hot as frick in August, aside from it just being stupid hot outside.

But frick yeah for getting after it man. Let’s goooo!

In other news, the Rogue TB-2 Trap Bar cake back in stock today. I got that bad boy.

Just waiting for the Racks and Barbell now.

I’ll get bumpers and a curl bar from them later in the year. I’ll just use the plates I have for now. I’ll take a picture when everything is done and set up.

If I had a place to put it indoors I would. I have a S1 squat rack in my garage. Plus I do majority of my workouts in the morning so it shouldn’t be too hot.

Get a wall mount foldable rack. Make sure it's 3x3 and from a reputable dealer. Under 400 usually. Can put any rogue attachment on it from the monster lite series.

Well no choice then. Get something similar to the sml-2 by rogue. Make sure it's 3x3 if at all possible. Build a quick platform out of plywood and rubber stall mats and anchor the stand down to the platform. Do that and it will have a ton more stability.

A lot of Rogue barbells are back in stock this morning. I grabbed a Freedom Bar. I'll eventually get a bar with center knurl later this year.
