Hiking in heat. I’ll be in the Grand Canyon next week. One hiker suggested bringing some in individual packet powder form. I tried theirs and it tasted pretty bad.

Tailwind, I’m an ultra marathon runner and it’s all I use. Great balance of sugar and electrolytes and it never upsets my stomach, even after 24 hours of drinking it.

I like tailwind or diluted Gatorade depending on how I feel. My stomach is very resilient and liquid IV made my stomach turn every time I tried it so there’s that.

I work outside and on days when I sweat a lot I’ll use H2ORS. I haven’t had to use it yet this summer so I can’t remember how it taste but I don’t remember it tasting bad. They recently came out with a berry flavor that I haven’t tried.

Drip Drop tastes great.

I like the taste of 4D the best. Nuun is ok. I don't really like Liquid IV.

I ended up with NUUN tablets. They worked well during the hike even with the heat wave we experienced. We hiked Rim To Rim from North Kaibab to Cottonwood, Cottonwood to Phantom Ranch, Phantom Ranch to Indian Gardens, Indian Gardens to The Bright Angel Trailhead.

Nice. Love nuun. What did you use for calories?

I liken Nuun but I mix it with water and a matching flavor crystal light type packet. Don’t like it just Nuun and water.
