Anyone else do beachbody workouts? With kids and work, it's much easier doing the myriad of workouts available especially now since they are all on-demand now through their app (i use the firestick).

I'm on my 3rd round of Lift4. First round i failed at by getting sick, and ending up in the ER with 2nd degree burns on my arm. 2nd round i was doing good until the holidays threw me off. So i'm restarting round 3. Been about 2 weeks since my last workout so i'm a little sore this morning. I like this particular workout because it's 30-40 minutes/day, 4 days/week, and all you need is a set of adjustable dumbbells.

After i complete this workout i plan to do the 3 week yoga retreat to try and regain some flexibility, then either do 22 minute hard corp again, or P90X3 again.

The wife and I are doing these for the same reasons. Having to do them at nights but its not bad since they are shorter. Have liked the 2B mindset eating program. We have really improved the quality of our dinners. Lunch was always pretty good for me.

Ive lost about 40lbs over 5 years and want to tone up, but I miss running everyday. With 2 kids under 4 I am hoping that as they get more independent it will allow for more time to do both.

Being 32 and losing weight, I am glad to be trending the opposite way of most of my friends with small kids.

ETA: We are not really following the 2B thing closely. we just shoot for the ratio of carbs/veggies/protein and drink a bunch of water

My wife signed up yesterday. She liked the first workout that she did. It is a pretty legit service for the price.

My wife just started last week. She's doing an 80 day program, I believe. She knows her way around a gym and likes it so far. She's trying to shed some baby weight after our son was born in October.

Works out great for her as she typically works from home when not traveling.

This is what I use. Due to having 2 young children, my only time to workout is early morning. Sometimes I have to skip because of lack of sleep.

If I'm working early shift, I usually do T-25 that week.

But I always try to work myself up to doing Insanity Max 30. I did it last year, and my goal is to do it again by March/April.

I want to try that Lift program though.

Can you sign up without having some stay at home MLM aggravating you to buy shakeology?

When I signed up, it was $150 (I think) which included the beach body membership, shakeology and containers to help you portion your meals. MAKE SURE you call and cancel the “shakeology” after the first month if you don’t want to continue using it, or you’ll be automatically charged $129/month for it. I cancelled the shakeology the day after I signed up, and no one has contacted me about it since

I'm currently on week 5 of LIIFT4. If you are pushing yourself like he says (actually using a heavy weight, and actually continuing to move during the HIIT segments) you should be pretty wiped and sore after.

The first two weeks I wasn't using enough weight and was cruising through, but now I'm pushing myself and using heavuer weights and I'm sore as frick.

Like any workout, it's heavily dependant on what you put into it. He's just a guide but you have to push yourself and know when to add weight, or when it's too much and you're risking injury.

Yes, you can just do the year access to beachbody on demand for like $100.

I liked shakeology....just too damn pricey to use on a regular basis.

My Beachbody On Demand automatically just renewed this year. I had forgotten about it. Guess that is a sign I need to start using it again. $100 for a year access still is a great deal though considering the amount of programs you have access to.

I've completed LIIFT4 and 80 Day Obsession. Both good programs. I'd like to move on to P90X except that I find Tony Horton annoying AF. Anyone else feel the same?

Tony can be really annoying...I've done a couple of rounds of p90x3 and he's cheesy af. That said, I can put up with it because he's really good at what he does and I see great results. Plus it's really easy to tune him out most of the time when you've heard the same shitty jokes 500 times.
