My 16 year old son has been lifting for almost a year and asked me to buy him this stuff earlier tonight.
Gains Candy by Rip Factor
Has anyone tried this stuff?

I don’t really do supplements anymore but that looks like snake oil. Especially for a 16 year old.

I've used alpha lion preworkout and liked it. But I'm not a fan of a proprietary blend like ripfactor, and I've read mixed results on it. I really wouldn't let me 16 year old take something like this. Protein, creatine and diet are all he should need at that age.

He eats like a horse and drinks protein shakes every day, but he is wanting to get bigger. I lift 6 days a week as well, but I don't take any supplements because I'm 42 and I don't have goals of getting huge. He showed me this today and asked if I would buy it for him.

Just straight up creatine and eating everything in sight. And lift heavy.

How much whole milk is he drinking?

He is 16.
Train hard 3 or 4 days a week.
Hit his daily protein.
If anything add creatine.
Everything else is nonsense and a waste.
Edit:
Also supplements dont make you huge.
Proper nutrition and training, as simple as it sounds, is ALL you need to focus on.
Protein shakes are not even necessary unless you struggle hitting daily protein through food.

"Gains Candy"?
Should have been "Gainz" then I would have said it's legit.
A 16 year old has every muscle building supplement he needs, it's called high arse testosterone. Add lifting, protein and calories and boom! You build muscle.

Only supplements I'd let my son take would be vitamins, creatine, protein, and fish oil. They have shitloads of natural hormones in the form of testosterone, estrogen, and HGH. No need for anything else. Plus you risk totally fricking up their development and hormone balance if you start down that path...

Sounds totally legit!

waste of money, get him on creatine, 2lbs of beef and a dozen eggs a day.
no but seriously just get him on creatine. have him start with like 3-4 eggs, 1lbs of beef and 32 oz fairlife chocolate milk & 1-2 shakes a day everyday on top of anything else he wants to eat.
biggest thing for kids that age is getting 1000 calories in before 9am. huge thing becasue kids get busy with school and sports and dont eat much again until dinner. getting that 1k cals in before 9am will be a game changer for him.
what progra, is he running?

Probably a bunch of crap. Your son is 16, so I wouldn’t worry a lot about supps. Make sure he’s eating well and training hard and he’ll be fine.

I’m 100% natty. Only supps I use:

No chance my kids will be allowed to take anything other than these. The fish oil is unnecessary if they are eating good fats already like nuts or peanut butter.
