Anyone every used a weighted blanket?

We got one for my son and while we were doing some bedroom changes, my wife told me to see how i slept using that blanket. I'll tell you that after a week... she made me give it back to my son, LOL. I was lights out every night a seldom moved during the night.
Anyone else try those things?

I'm not a fan. The one I used made me really hot and it would get a clumpy on the corners

Yeah, i can see the getting hot part but i used it with just a sheet. This one is 25lbs i think and seems like its stitched in sections.

Used one for a while...
Pro: Helps prevent too much tossing and turning, and also easier to relax at night. Love it.
Con: Prevents me from easily wiggling over to the gf next to me to engage in sexual activity without fully ripping the blanket off
Needless to say, I don't use it much anymore

my wife has one thats full of glass beads. thats suppose to keep them cooler. she loves it.
i havent tried it but maybe i should. i dont like feeling constricted though so i probably wont enjoy it.

My girlfriend has one. I hate it. Makes me feel like I'm in a hotel bed with the blankets tucked in way too tight... like George Costanza.

My wife uses one when she sleeps and she loves it.
I can't stand anything heavy on me when I sleep---even during the winter I only use a lightweight blanket and sheet to cover with.

We tried one and I felt like I was being tortured in A Clockwork Orange. Hated it.
