Made it to Strongville. Granted that last rep of 4 almost made me sit down but got it done. Bench went way smoother than I thought

The squats were encouraging though for the PR Party. Didn’t expect that 91% to move that easy for 2-3 reps

Thanks for linking that, didn't know he had a FB page. All printed off now, not looking forward to 91% on Squat and Bench today. I will definitely need a spotter today!

Day 24 down

Over all, day went well. The squats got heavy, but still very much manageable. I believe I could've easily gone up in reps, but stopped at 4 as written. Bench was harder than squat (as expected) and form probably suffered a little on the last rep or 2. I didn't struggle with it, but did take a slower approach in the reps.

The pushdowns were the only REAL pain today. I refused to lower the weight for sets 3 and 4 and just accepted the burn.

The comments on todays workout on Ig are pretty funny.

NOBODY CAN DO 91% of a true 1RM FOR 4 REPS

Guess this fella hasn’t been using a training max

Aaron has been calling out people on this a couple times the last few weeks.

He even had a survey asking what TM% people were using. One of the options was "What's a Training Max?".... 11% choose that answer.

91% moved real nice on squats. Honestly the set of 2 on bench was the toughest set for some reason. 3 and 4 moved easier

Had to do skulls and OH farmers carry’s due to equipment limitations in my garage. Tris are on fire

I was very surprised how good 91% felt. That last rep on the last set was tough though. I couldn’t have done a set of 5 for sure.

Tomorrows workout looks to be a good day. I love snatch grip deadlifts.

Got the squats, like Jose said that last rep almost got me.

Bench I knew was going to be tough. I only got two reps on the third set. Dropped 10 lbs for the last set of 4 reps. My spotter didn’t show up on time….

Still happy 5 total reps at 240.

Have y'all already discussed November's plan?

After prep and Squatober, think I'm going to get away from the barbell and do DB Strength.

There's been some discussion, but nothing set in stone yet.

I know I am doing Deadcember for sure.

My stairway to Strongville was confusing due to 4 hours sleep, a busy day at work and rushing it out before volleyball last night.

91% of TM was 134.6kg (296 pounds). Thought I'd round it down to 133kg for the first step of 1 rep to test it, and then up to 135kg after because I have only 2.5kg and 1.5kg change plates.

First two steps I realised I had only added a 5kg to one side of the barbell, so I added it on and kept the 133kg goal

So it progressed 1 rep of 128 (instead of 133), 2 reps of 130 (instead of 135), 3 reps of 133 and 4 reps of 133. So I made it to the outskirts of BS Strongville, but didn't really get to visit

As always, I am surprised in how my warm up squats at 65%, 75% and 85% start wobbly and progress to confident, controlled and powerful

Bench moved well and I am happy with how the stairway worked out

the tris were definitely pumped towards the end of the cardio. I need to invest in farmers carry plate holders, as my DBs only go to 20kg. My goal is to carry more than half my weight, and I am 115kg.

As for next PPSA, I'm tossing up between finishing the last month of 3 days a week of Brace Yourself It's Coming or Stacked and Jacked. Feel my legs are pumped after the last two months, and could use a less of a focus

Sorry for the kgs, as I am Aussie. I do appreciate this forum a lot and have found it all very helpful in this Squatober thread and also other PPSA. So thank you again
