I was huffing and puffing typing that one. Sorry I didn’t make sense
I meant I got 19 on the doubles early on in the month and I wanted to get 19 triples today but I got 15. And 15 was more like cardio on the last few like Junky said.

What’s y’all’s average rest time between sets on these triples. My first time doing these.

Squats: 14 sets @ 220
Bench: 11 sets @ 210

Are you guys putting the bar back between every set or just resting a little with the bar in your back sometimes?

I thought about this and came to the conclusion that I’d get more sets by resting completely. Especially with bench.

put the bar back every time. for example this is how i did the first time this came up earlier in the month
1) set timer for 10 min
2) every 40s get under the bar and do a set
3) no matter how long the set took, i start the next set at the 40 second mark
so do sets at
0
40s
1min 20s
2min
2m 40s
3m 20s
4m
etc etc etc

I racked it every time. And usually would just leave my hands there and stretch a little and roll

You're overthinking this. Most of us aren't pushing that much weight. My 80% is only 250lbs. Huge difference.

Fair enough. I just overthink what I set my max at every day so when I see that I only got 6 sets at my 80% but others got 10+ I wonder if my max is to ambitious for this program.

I haven't maxed out since high school and I think I may have set my max too low when I get so many reps like that. I'm planning on doing a true max on 10/31 if I can find a spotter at the gym

If you completed the first see-saw, you're good. That double at 90% after all the other sets would've told the tale.
