I'm still behind and did ABC easy as 123 today. These triple supersets were gnarly (especially the last 2)

Feels great to have chest fatigue for the first time in 3 weeks.
That cardio superset at the end had me grunting on pushups

Loved the pause squats and wouldn't have minded a little more work. Bench was nice, but either the rests were way too long or my TM is too low. I rested 1:30-2 min and that was forcing myself to pace around the gym to kill time. I'm not sure if I approached the cardio superset correctly. Don't get me wrong, when the timer went off I was happy it was over. However, I don't think I picked the correct weights. I went with weights that I normally use on traditional sets with rests, not a constant superset with no rests. Had I dropped the weights down 1 notch, I feel like I could've kept up the pace and squeezed in another set (possibly 2).

I have a feeling the light squat work is supposed to be more of a stretch and blood flow leg workout. I expect Thursday and Friday work to be a lot heavier.
I was able to get in four rounds of the super set, but it took me closer to 7.5 rather than 6.5 minutes

I've only being doing Squatober since 2021 when I first heard about it, but this has been my favorite.

This for me too. I did mess up and used the wrong DBs for the lateral raises (20% heavier than I had planned

Day 22 in the books.
Squats felt light, probably could have shorten rest time there… bench weights all went up smooth. Superset killed me, as others said maybe go lighter on the weights if really want to push for # of sets
Cheers fellas

This looks like a first. I’ve not seen this one in years past.

day 22 done. I enjoyed the pause squats. That stretch felt great.
90% on bench moved easy as well.

I ended up doing 4 reps on the last set. Wondering if my TM may be a little low on bench as well, but it was a solid amount of effort to squeeze those last reps out.
Looking forward to the merry-go-round tomorrow

I use my 1RM for bench and DL. I've not actually maxed on DL in a while, but I think what I'm using is too light. Bench feels good though. Those 90% reps today moved smoothly but we're heavy.
I'm definitely going to have to workout at home tomorrow morning. I hate bringing my pullup belt to the gym. I'd rather just hang weights at home

Good one today. Aaron should've just eleiminated the cardio today due to all the plate changes. Those first few rest periods went QUICK. Overall squat wasn't bad. I did need to throw on my knee sleeve to eliminate a little discomfort. Pullups have always been a struggle for me. So 2 on the minute every minute got rough by set 6.
Hoping there is very little shoulder work tomorrow. Right shoulder was already a little tender before the pullups today.

I can definitely tell I'm gonna have fun at the PR party.
That last set of 2 at 90 was easy.
I hung a 35 from my waist for the pullups. Should have done a 45 but I thought I would gas out towards the end. No problem with the 35 though.
I expect tomorrow to be a long one with a lot of auxiliary work

Total opposite for me

Keep at it!
I've "worked out" my whole life and consistently hovered around 200#
I started doing PPSA plans about about 2.5 years ago and have stayed in the best shape of my adult life.
Now I'm 39, 160 lbs (5'11") and approaching the 1000 lb club for the first time since highschool when I was about 230 and playing football/powerlifting.
PPSA has completely changed my fitness and I thank This forum for showing me the way.

Totally agree. I'm 36 and I'm the strongest I have ever been. I joined the 1200 lb club after finally benching 315 back in February.
