I had a cold most of this week and am finally feeling back to normal. Get rest and hit it hard later.

Day 18 kicked our butts today too. I did the cardio first while wife was squatting, and subbed in 1 arm db rows to be able to get the superset done with 1 barbell. Things were going fine then that superset hahaha

Update: 16 hours post workout after spending about 4 hours in the car driving around - every muscle in my body except chest and lats is sore as hell… and the others are coming tomorrow. Good god.

Ibuprofen and Theragun until Monday

That’s the problem with forgotten reps. You forget that 11 is a lot.

I'm feeling great 2/3 through the month.

By my estimation, I've gained about 1.5 lbs of muscle.

I PRed a 10k this morning.

Knees feeling good.

Hamstrings are like rubber bands about to pop though

I need a really good stretch

Ah there’s the pressure cooker. 75% triples sounds sneaky though to pace yourself

I've never done a timed triple like this before.

Is 10 sets a good target?

I did this one last night to get ahead for the week
I did 10. Could have done 11 (had about 40 seconds left) but didn't want to crush myself for rest of the week.
The bench was a little tougher and things started getting really slow around 8.

Biggest takeaway as of this morning is holy crap my triceps.

There really isn't any rep range you should be shooting for, I would just try and literally get as many you possibly can. You will be surprised by how many you can get.

My wife got 16 this morning. She started off with too light of weight for the month, but then again she has gotten much better and a little stronger this month.

16 at the buzzer on squats

In the past I would look at my watch and try to go on the minute and if I was feeling good before that go early. This time I didn’t look at my watch at all until the last couple minutes. Just went as soon as I thought I could.

Pretty happy with today's workout. I hit 10 sets on squat and 11 on bench. Pace slowed down on squat towards the end, but I felt like I retained form. Bench (as usual) got better around the 3rd or 4th set. Oddly enough, I had more in the tank and could've hit more sets had I been better with time management.

I've been subbing rev grip heavy lat pulldowns instead of chin-ups. These were the worst part of today since I failed to get 6 full reps on the last sets.

Feel really optimistic so far with how Squatober is progressing.

Caught up over weekend and did Fridays on Saturday am before all taking my kids to all the things. Y'all weren't kidding about that superset, my grip from going straight from lunges to rdls was trying to give out...

Day 21 done.

Having not done a pressure cooker didn't know what to expect. I got 9 sets on squat and could have gotten more but not mad at it. 11 sets for bench as I figured out timing/rest a bit better having done it with squats.

Feeling good all things considering, on to tomorrow

Pressure cooker done and I'm cooked.

12 sets on squats and 16 on bench press.

Felt something tighten up in my back about halfway through and just toughed it out. Hope it gets better sooner rather than later.

13 sets on squat

Today's Hard Hat workout was great. Switching from lunch to 4am was a change but I liked it

Day 22 didn't take nearly as long as I thought. Those rest periods crept up quickly - especially on the superset.

Had to drop the weight on the carries from the last time as shoulders were already cooked from the lateral raises.

Yeah. I did day 22 this AM too. Felt good. My chest is SUUUUPER tight from yesterday.

My dog got very confused at the suitcase/waiter carries. He was under my feet the whole time, so I'm out there in the driveway at 6:15 am yelling at the puppy to "fricking move!"
