If you’re looking for cheap protein you’ve gotta take the monkey pill
There's right at 23 grams of proteins per lb of that baw. There's cheaper options. $2.15 a lb. I'm all about primate food but you're getting more protein for cheaper from chicken or beef.

I really don't believe I'm 25% either. I'm kind of disappointed in paying $100 for the scan and it being off. But still, I know I have fat to lose. My love handles are awful. I'm the opposite of "snatched."
Navy Method says I'm around 21-22%. I posted on /r/Fitness for a physique and body fat check, and the few comments I got said I looked around 20%.
Still though, I'm not cut or muscular by any means.
we are very similar and Im at 150 and 12% body fat. To really get ripped looking id have to lose even more weight. I say ripped looking, but currently there is no fat on my body except rt around the mid section. top abs show but not lower.
So basically, I believe you are/were 20lbs overweight. but maybe not necessarily that high of body ft %.

Damn I must be really fat. I'm 5'7" and can't imagine weighing 150. I'm 179 right now and think I would looked pretty damn lean at 165. In my 20s I had a lot more mass and 31 inch waist and the lowest I weighed was 167 or so.

I think the rule here is that you’re not a real man unless you weigh more than 200

All in how you carry it. My chest and shoulders are well defined. A pic of me from my pecs up would reveal a guy who lifts.
My midsection is a squaty, frog man.

My question is your macros.
Is this your first run with that ratio? What info you have that that ratio works for you? What other ratios have you tried with the same routine.

An update:
It’s been 32 days since I made this post, and I’m down to an average 164 over the last three days. That’s 6 pounds down in a little over four weeks.
A few things I’ve learned/experienced:
1) The cravings and urges to binge eat have disappeared. My biggest weight loss hindrance over the course of my life has been the constant “need” to gorge on comfort foods. I struggled with this the first few weeks and practiced mindfulness techniques to get through it. Those techniques eventually whittled down to me saying “lizard brain” whenever I felt the desire to binge. Now I no longer get those urges and even enjoyed some dessert the other night without losing control and gorging on it.
2) My lifts have not suffered at all. In fact, if anything, my workouts are better than ever. I feel alert, energetic, and excited about being in the gym (my garage). I haven’t felt sluggish at all, and recovery seems more efficient. I haven’t really increased any lifts, but the 5/3/1 sets are still hitting the same AMRAPs as before.
3) About a week ago, I decided to get onto the “10k” steps train. I don’t have the time or space to run like I used to, but squeezing in a 3/4-1 mile walk throughout the day has been doable. I try to get in a morning walk, a lunch break walk, and an afternoon walk every day. My job involves a lot of movement, so getting 3-3.5 miles worth of steps each day has been helpful for burning a few extra calories.
4) Weekends are still a struggle because I can’t preplan what I’ll eat. I haven’t sabotaged my diet at all (well, one Sunday hit 2700 calories two weeks ago), but working around the family’s wants and needs makes it more difficult to consistently hit my protein and calorie goals. What’s helped is focusing on eating protein and limiting how much I consume. I’d rather undereat with sufficient protein intake than overeat on carbs/fats. So when we ordered Chinese last weekend, I ate what appeared to be 4oz of orange chicken and had a very small (like 1/4 cup) serving of rice.
4) My physique is tightening up. I literally cannot imagine what I will look like a month from now after another 4-6 pounds is lost. I’ve always been overweight, so the idea of having a “toned” body is really exciting.
