Is it possible? What’s the best plan/ app/supplements?

Worked out all my life but dad life gotten me out the game over the past 5 years. I’m naturally thin and have lost most of my muscle mass over the years. Got a big trip coming up an wanted to attempt to look fit again lol. TIA.

No.

It's not possible. You could probably do it in 4 months.

Dang. Any recommendations to at least gain some Mx mass during that time frame?? What’s the latest and greatest beside roids these days lol. Maybe I’ll just hit the creatinine for starters.

You could probably put on 5lbs in a month if you started drinking two mass gainer shakes a day, would just be most fat though.

Eat your arse off and workout 6 days a week. These are both more important than supplements. Find out your maintenance calories and eat 1,000 calories over that minimum. 1g of protein a day per lb. of bodyweight. You will gain fat also but that’s the price to pay for muscle. You can shred the fat later.

As far as supplements:
Creatine. (But it’s worthless unless you kill it in the weight room)
Liquid IV from Walgreens. (will help retain water and thus get the water to your muscles faster)
Amino’s.
Once you adapt to the new lifestyle you can add other supplements.

ETA: 5 lbs of muscle in 4 weeks is not possible but the above will get you on the way quickly.

i actually will disagree with everyone else here only because you are new to lifting. if you hit it hard you could look like you put on 5 lbs of muscle, might not be real muscle but will look like it.

i suggest you start following the greyskull aesthetics template in the greyskull thread

thing is you needt o hit the cardio hard and it needs to be strong man cardio as in overhead lifts.

you also need to clean up your diet big time. tons and tons of protein and then cut your carbs to around 100g/day so that you atleast look better.

Kinda agree with the above. I don't think OP necessarily meant 5 lbs of "pure muscle", I just think he wants to get bigger. That said, you can make some good beginner gains in 8 weeks. Yeah it's fat, but your shoulders and chest will look different in a good way. Just eat and lift.

I tried to go higher protein (100+ grams a day) and it messed with my stomach. I kept getting constipated. I wanted to do carnivore. But I don't think my stomach can take it. Is there something different I can do to make it work?

Drink whey protein mixed with low fat milk. Take a fiber supplement after meals.

I like to mix my protein powder in milk as it tastes better and adds extra protein. I normally drink whole milk, but I find the powder mixes better in the thinner stuff. So I buy both.
