For my first 6 months my go to was "knock the cover off the golf ball". Didn't work out too well. Now it's "1 and 2" where "1 and" is nice and slow during my backswing and 2 begins my down swing. It's just to keep my tempo and rhythm steady.

keep my head and spine in the same position as setup. At the very least helps with contact.

What’s your go-to swing thought?
Head down
Left arm straight
Balance in my feet
Soft grip
Slow takeaway
Right elbow in
I don't just have one...

Keep the club outside my hands going back, get weight back into my left hip coming through. (Rehearse in my practice swing ; try not to think about anything but the target in my swing)

Straight back on the take away
I tend to get inside on my takeaway as I get tired and/or lazy
I usually do a practice takeaway before addressing the ball to keep it top of mind
Plenty that can go wrong from there, but usually a good takeaway keeps me in plane, at least

Try to comeback as far as possible and finish my swing

Pick a target and visualize the shot. Of course it won't work every time but it kind of clears everything else out.

I sometimes focus on a spot about 1 to 2 inches in front of the ball and helps keep my head down.

High hands in the backswing.
I feel it allows me more time to transition and I strike the ball better. Could just be made up.

Keep it smooth, don't try to kill it.

"tempo town... tempo town... tempo town"
