Are Scotty's really worth the money or is it a name thing?

This. Love it. Life is too short not to play golf with a good putter.

Your answer will depend on whether you ask a owner of a Scotty or a non-owner.
Heck, anyone can fall in and out of love with any putter.

I am back to using my Evnroll ER5 Center-shaft, such a nice soft feel to it and it puts a great roll on the ball.
I did change from the Gravity Grip to a gray Lamkin Deep Etched grip last week and I like it better.

xr-7...haha...I use a putter that came with my first set of clubs when I got back onto golf 25 years ago. The whole xr-7 set cost $180. I long ago replaced the rest of the clubs, now play a TM driver and callaway irons....but that putter is like butter to me.

Ping B60 Stainless Steel. Older than dirt, but I love the way it feels...

2012 Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport 2.5
I've used it for quite a long time and don't see a reason to change right now... not saying it couldn't happen.

I flip flop between my old Ping Pal putter and my Cleveland Huntington Beach

Was using a 1994 cougar anser style for my illustrious golf career before this year
Now that I play consistently I finally switched. Got the 2-ball ten red putter with the line and stroke last shaft
Love it

I've finally settled into a Hive BB8 Tri DASS. Waiting on a LAGP shaft and it'll be 100%

Very nice, never been a fan of the graphite in putters but if it works for you then rock on.
Ive wanted to try a hive putter but I love the feel of the hard micro honeycomb face with a soft ball
