Bought this over the winter. Haven’t used it yet but it’s going in my bag first round.

No counterbalance. I prefer a heavier head depending on the face milling. Bettinardi's variety of milling options/faces is what sold me on the brand.

Had a pistol grip Newport #2 in my hands on Saturday and was talked off the ledge to get fitted and customize one instead. Hardest thing I’ve ever been through

I added a 2021 5.5 back to the rack for cheap since they did an off-year cycle on the Phantoms. They changed the sole design to an actual "x" and added "Scotty Cameron" to the face lol

Put it in play a few months ago and has behaved so far. First time in my 20 years of golf not playing a blade of some sort.

When did the terminology on a "blade" change? Used to be an 8802 or bullseye style were blades and then you had anser style.

Oh not at all lol. Just fond of the brand & RJB's history. Plus the variety of milling options available. I routinely play with people who have never heard of Bettinardi at all but will tell you there's nothing better than their Scotty lol.
Over the last couple years, my collection has just slowly grown. There's probably $7K tied up in it, but putters just routinely come and go usually biweekly at this point. The values remain pretty constant within the community and I'm basically out the shipping cost and the occasional Goods & Services fee. Out of that last batch of 3, only one stayed behind. And that was only because I took the time to send it off for a different neck and then back to my buddy who runs his own refinishing business
