Approach shots, typically. Especially long irons or fairway woods off the deck. Although nothing makes me want to quit more than a vicious hook off the tee.

The biggest struggle is consistency. Ok, you put it in the fairway off the tee, that's great. Now, try to hit a solid approach shot without getting too much in your head about it and turning what could be a really good hole into a bad one - and then do that again 17 more times. Or the opposite, you hit a shitty tee shot, now get over it and give yourself something to work with on the approach.
There's only a few holes a round where I can put everything together right now and I have at least one or two blow up holes every round.

fairway woods off the fairway, followed by pitch shots to an elevated green on side of the elevation.

Putting between 5-10 feet and any club shorter than a pitching wedge. Al of a sudden I developed the shanks from 85 - 130 yards. When playing for money been having to punch a 7 or 8 iron at this range. Can’t figure out what I’m doing

This is my weakness, which ultimately translates to not taking advantage of Par-5’s and making big numbers on long Par 4’s.

Ball too far back in the stance? Not committing to the shot/decelerating? That's what happened to me

Tee box 100%. If I'm not getting off the tee box, my entire round is shot. I start having to play shots I shouldn't be playing in hopes of getting that lost stroke back. I go on tilt.

My problem with that range is I can see the cup in my peripheral. Idk if it's just the mental aspect or what.

Chipping. I've never been a good putter so that's just expected. I have chipping yips, though

After 20+ years of playing I've narrowed my issues down to three things that will hurt me until I get them fixed.

1. Driving accuracy
2. Ball Striking
3. Putting

In all seriousness though, chipping off of a saturated area to an elevated green. I get all in my head and chunk the shite out of one or blade one across the green by 100 yards.

I am deathly afraid of my approach funneling into a drainage area.

I struggle everywhere. But consistently I have always struggled off of the teebox. Visually I have been told I have a pretty swing, but it's all over the place.

If I could keep the ball in bounds 70% of the time, I could knock 8-10 strokes off of my game. But I am constantly OB, having to take drops and hitting 3 off the box. Even short game. Hitting OB, and having to drop and hit 4 or 5 when it should be 2 or 3. I get on the green at par or bogie most holes. The other half bogie or worse. Out of 18 holes, I might get to the green in regulation 6-7 holes. Then I will frick around and 3 putt....

But I love playing, and even though it bothers me when I play, I still love it, and love just being outdoors and enjoying the company of the people I am playing with. I'd just want to be competitive with the guys I am playing with, I don't have to win, I just want to be close or alongside on the scorecard. It's usually not that.

Tee box is killer for me. I find myself using driver less and less because I can’t consistently put it in play.

What are you using in it's place? I have tried my 3iron on occasion, and sometimes I hit it much better, others the same(Bad).
