Any club that assesses has guidelines.

Most have a quarter or monthly fee that does not require a vote.

If more than that number they have a board vote.

That number could be $50-200.

This feels high. I'm not arguing with you bc I know what you do for a living and I know you're right. But damn, that's a lot of new members every year.

Is that an average across the industry where the places that are expanding skew the average?

U have turnover across the board. In all clubs no matter if they are capped or not. That’s just average.

I HEARD the owner is reaching out to investors and consultants to get a game plan and pricing.

Membership pricing sent out about a month ago. Rehab supposed to start soon. Initial proposal is only 100 local memberships. By invitation.

There’s a 100 people in SFV that play golf and would pay those prices?

Feign exclusivity to get some quick easy cash then open it up to anyone and everyone later.

I would like to get some information about the renovations at The Bluffs. I worked there as the Director of Golf from 1985-1990, would like to be involved in bringing the course back to what it was in its heyday, before all the changes to the original design. Holes 2 & 3 before they where changed by flooding were really great holes. Let me know, if you can be any help to me. Thanks.

All i know is what was in a newsletter i received a few weeks ago--restoring 2 to be a par 5. I don't know about the tee on 3, which was moved up after the second or third flooding. they are removing some traps (very maintenance heavy the last few years) but have the Palmer group approval over the redesign. I've heard several things but have no way of knowing what is true or not--e.g. changing the fairway turf and grass on the greens. I'll look for the newsletter and update. I moved there in 98 so i never met you unless it was when i played as a guest earlier.

Is that set up by the new owner? I really hope not because that would be a horrendous sign.

Yes, Callicott is the new owner. Looking for partners though...
