Truly sad, I’m building a house in SF that will be done early next year. Loved the idea of playing the bluffs but clearly it will never be back the way it was. In high school that was a primo course that we moved heaven and earth to get on and now I don’t think it’ll ever be in good enough shape for me not to keep driving to Zachary or BR.

I’ve always enjoyed the drive up there and playing there. But only go about once a year. Hope they can bounce back.

I’ve heard fall 23. Not sure when we see movement at the course. Heard they are focused on opening some other things like restaurant etc then get course moving

So you have a true championship Arnold Palmer designed golf course 25 minutes drive from Baton Rouge but will only patronize it once a year.
And you wonder why this course can not compete with BREC subsidized Santa Maria or Beaver Creek.

If you can make it from BR to the Bluffs clubhouse in 25 minutes, I’ll give you my next Christmas bonus. Don’t be fooled by their shtick. It’s 35 minutes after you get off I-110 and 61 North.

I live on the other side of Baton Rouge. I've always treated the Bluffs as a day trip. Hour or so to get over there. Hour to pay, warm up, putt/chip and get to the first tee. 4.5 hour round. Hour getting home. It is basically a 7/8 hour day every time I go out there, assuming no lunch or drinks.

Oh I’ve played fenwood more times than you can imagine. Spent summers at the pool there growing up, played golf there, enjoyed many a fendog, and our friend snuck us alcohol during some of the bigger events there. Good times.
