As an LSU fan, it shocks me that Smylie is still on the PGA tour. Man he’s been bad.

Won the shriner’s in 2015, but has been cut or DNP in all of the majors except the 2016 masters (T29).

And he was in the Final group of that major. Nantz humiliating him on national TV ruined his career

I think he still has the exemption from the Shriners win because that was part of the 2016 season. Got him exempt for the two years following that.

From ‘98-‘05 he missed one cut.
From ‘98 to ‘10 he missed five cuts.
Spieth has been on tour for 5 full seasons and missed 19 cuts.
Tiger’s first 5 full seasons he missed 2.

Truly incredible and the most telling stat of his dominance in my opinion.
Then the injuries/aftermath of Thanksgiving incident took over his life.
