I actually kinda dig Finau's swing. I think many amateurs would benefit from shorter, more compact backswing.

At his age, he needs to be in order to win consistently.
Purely my opinion. Older guys get, typically, the more FW's they try to find.

Completely depends on the course. There’s also a huge difference between missing the fairway by a yard, and 15 yards. If you leave yourself in the 1st cut you’re fine.

Agreed. This is one of those discussions that until he proves the other side of it wrong, you'll always have the "he should take some off his swing for consistency sake" vs the "he doesnt need to change jack shite about his swing"
