Just basically a long version of what we already know. The new detail seems to be that Greg Norman was the key figure in putting an event here, so when he went away, the deal slowly started to collapse.

The State and LIV originally discussed a 6 yr $22 million deal for an event, but they only signed a 1-year deal in the end.
Greg Norman and state officials toured the area in a helicopter looking at courses and decided on City Park. I think ET told them no.

was pleasantly surprised when i emailed them about a refund for this event and they said, its postponed and not cancelled. i stated the future projected dates did not work for me. was thinking that was the end of that.
about a week later got my refund for the 2 tix i purchased.
