The poster above was referring to the ProV1x left dash.
Prov1x flights higher and is a little longer off the tee than prov1. I went from ProV1x to ProV1. The X flights too high and spins too much for me as a high spin player. I was losing almost a full club on my irons. Off the tee and wedges it was fine. 115-118 driver swing speed for what it’s worth.

Yes I know.

The X suits me better than the regular.

I also like the left dash.

I’ve been playing the Maxfli X, but just started trying the TP5. I’m really liking it.

The yellow balls were the regular ProV1. What a difference in my ball flight (lower) and the ProV1 was shorter for me. It was very noticeable with the driver and irons.

You think the prov1 feels shorter, go play a TP5 or TP5x. I really started questioning my manhood off the tee

The Prov1x is by far the best ball and I will pay the little extra to enjoy my rounds more.

I was playing the Maxfli S, switched to the new Callaway Chrome Tour, it’s a better ball for my game.

By far Titleist makes the best balls.

I love the ProV1x, but I hate Titleist for letting the pricing get out of hand.

Of the three:

ProV1X-highest ball flight, highest greenside spin, most spin, harder ball
ProV1X Left Dash-flights has like a Prov1X. Long off the tee with significantly less spin, hardest ball, way less green side spin.
ProV1-Lower (mid) ball flight, good green side spin, softest of the 3

All three are long, but the Left Dash is the longest. The ProV1x will be slightly longer off the tee than the ProV1 for most people.

Rollback is gonna be fascinating.

I have no clue how they are gonna execute that and make it work for everyone.

The pros will have limits.

We will play the golf balls in our golf bags without fanfare.

There's a pretty good amount of balls (about 33%) that people are playing now that will adhere to the rollback, including some tour balls. It's going to be balls like the left dash that won't be legal.

Most beginners don’t even know what that means. I try to explain to new players the difference between a Pro v and a rock and they look at me like I have two heads They’re are just clueless

If price is a factor take a look at Lostgolfballs.com
The balls are in excellent condition for any average golfer

This. There’s also a dude that pops up on the golf classifieds subreddit every month or so. He’s got some good prices and I’d say his 5A balls are better than lostgolfballs 5A’s.

I bought some great looking ProV1’s from that guy for about 27.50/dozen.
