I'm pretty good with numbers.
I wouldn't mind lending a hand.

I'd need someone with access to PGA stats to help though.

Probably should. They haven't taken care of that course in years anyway.

Just spill it. Why even post the tease unless you want attention?

They need to buy more property.
It’s an 18 hole layout on 16-1/2 holes of space.

There’s nothing left to buy. They’re squeezed between the highway and that creek. Any land not in use is for future lots.

I wasn’t bring serious.

But my point was the Golf property available is not enough for a good layout.

Unless about 30 other courses are closing very soon, The Island will keep its spot as a middle of the road golf course if it reopens.

It's not a terrible layout. Just not a top 5 in the state layout.

Not even in the top 5 in the Baton Rouge area, much less the Stare.

For BR, prolly top 5 of courses you can play. Santa Maria, Beaver Creek, Graystone, Bluffs and what else? Copper Mill was in great shape last week so maybe that’s 5th.

If you count the Bluffs, might as well count Carter.

I thought they were closing LSU down a while ago. I feel like it's just a matter of time. That's prime real estate.

I wonder outloud if scaling down to a 9-hole facility would be of any benefit. They do a shite ton of rounds out there though don't they?

Then they realized that every student pays a fee for golf on their fee bill. In 2004 when I went, said fee was about $80 a semester. That's a shite ton of money they'd have to figure out.
