Sucks it isn’t Dumas, Clark or LSU. But there are too many golf courses in Baton Rouge for them to financially make sense and put out a consistent , quality product.

Very bad news and they won’t be the only one. They are trying to find buyers tho.

Damn. Site of my one and only ace. That sucks.

Anyone who would buy a golf course in Baton Rouge would be an April fool.
The economics sucks here for golf. LSU Sports, Fishing, Hunting, BREC.
Cheap arse people who don’t want to pay for it but expect primo conditions and 8AM tee times on Saturday's.

That sucks, the island is a good track. Would much rather see any brec course close. BR is a golf wasteland

That sucks. I worked there when it opened. Had some good times there.

Sucks to hear. Enjoyed the course. Terrible news for the homeowners. So much for living on a golf course.

What’s going to happen to the value of the homes?

What’s odd is most courses when they are in the process of closing become dumps. The Island is probably still in good shape. I still wonder if this is an April Fool’s joke. Either way glad I live up in kc now. You can play a nice public course up here for $45 - $70

Has anyone confirmed this? Ball Champ got any inside info?

They are closed. Grass will still be cut.

Is it for sale? The government is sending me $3,400. That ought to get me a couple holes lol

Played it 3 weeks ago. It was in bad shape. Greens were trash.

Yes it’s for sale.
