I was able to hit one today and was very impressed with it. It is a Forged Carbon body offering with a Ti milled face.

Looks like Callaway put a lot of thought into the Color and the appearance. I was told that no two drivers will look exactly the same with the paint swirl on the finish.

I really liked the looks and the crown.

This driver sits very square and if anything the standard model is a little fade bias which works for me.

The feel is really nice. The "Jail Break" tech has been spread all the way across the face with this model, which will add to forgiveness.

There will be Standard, Max and Triple Diamond models.

The Diamana Kai'Li' shaft will be one of the standard shaft offerings ( It's a tad softer than the standard White Board). Not sire on other shaft offering at the moment.

Retail will be 599.00 with a Feb realease date.

I have never been much of a Callaway driver fan in recent years, but this one changed my mind.

I prefer the new Great Big Bertha.. the GBB irons look better than the Paradyms, too (although I haven’t hit the paradym irons)

Hard to keep up with how much Callaway pumps out but their drivers are legit. Very underrated ball manufacturer as well but man…seems like they have a new release every year. Rogue was released beginning of this year.

Yeah. The 425 was released a while ago. Taylor Made and Callaway pump out so many new clubs. By the time you get comfortable with your new driver a new one has been released it seems.

Them… and Talyormade… and Titleist… and Ping… for a while now.

I’ve had the epic speed in my bad for two years. Going to try this out. All OEMs can do now is more forgiveness and this one is supposed to be as advertised in that area.

Think Titleist and Ping are every 2 years. Callaway has one every year. TM isn’t far from it. Just seems to be a lot to keep up with regardless. Even every 2 years is a lot. But that’s just me.

Watched the TXG video on this tonight. Watch it and pay attention to the numbers and the shot shape with these three different driver heads. One of them was seriously underperforming, shot going hard right (draw on the lefty) and way less carry even on straighter drives, 25-30 yards shorter.

It was an interesting watch in that there was a distinct difference in results between the 3 heads.

Once every 4-5 months at one point. This is when they lost me.

I've never been able to get along with Callaway drivers... really want to though. Pretty and simplistic heads.

That was the X and a terrible fit for someone with a swing speed 100+. For people who don’t swing hard, it’s likely a good fit. His ball speed numbers were very good with it across the face. It’s meant for generally higher handicaps and those who swing slower than 95 mph.

Yep, his spin numbers were through the roof with it (mid 3,000s), so carry really suffered.

From what I’ve seen / heard the triple diamond is basically unplayable if you can’t hit the center every single time. It’s extremely unforgiving.

I don’t have any issues with my TD Epic Speed unless they changed a lot.

I still have the epic flash subzero. Love that club and it’s pretty unforgiving, but was told this is even worse.
