Should I dial down the loft on my driver? Numbers inside

Currently have it set at 10.5 degrees. I hit it well, but as you can see my launch angle is around 17 and that’s way too high.My apex averaged like 135 feet which would be the highest on tour, so clearly it’s far too high. Would lowering the degree help my overall numbers or cause negative outcomes I’m not thinking about
And my “low” ones are still around 14
In my mind I would love to get the ball on the ground a little quicker. Less chance for bad shite to happen.

What are yards off line. If you go 10.5 to 9 it’s gonna be hard less accurate by nature. If you’re hitting the fairway with those numbers, you’ll be fine. I wouldn’t change

I have an old Taylor Made Titanium 7° Burner you can try…

Check where you are striking the ball on the clubface. Spin is relatively low for the launch may suggest a high strike. Getting the strike down will improve the launch numbers.
With those numbers you could
probably lower 0.5 to 1 degree without lowering the spin too much

I have a pretty good dispersion currently. Thing is I need every yard I can get out of my drives because my mid irons are terrible

The question is are you hitting a high percentage of fairways ?
If you are and those numbers translate to the course, why mess with it since you should be hitting short irons into most Par 4's.

You’re already hitting it farther than 99% of golfers.

maybe you should practice those. I don’t have any data to back that up but seems like a good idea

Yes, practicing my mid irons 100% would be the best thing I could do. But I have 3 kids so practice isn’t much of a thing
While dialing down a driver launch takes no time
So in theory, yes the ball will go further but it also becomes less accurate when you remove degrees of launch?
Here is the overall dispersion. Mainly hit 7 wood, 3 wood, driver after warming up l. In honesty, I hit my wolds and drivers straighter than irons. It’s a more natural authentic swing for me than trying to compress the ball

Biggest variable that improves accuracy is more spin. Your 2400 is really about an ideal balance between distance and accuracy. It’s what the pros shoot for.

Yeh I saw that. But I also saw my average ball apex would be highest on tour and like 20 feet higher than most players
So clearly I’m not optimizing that

What's your angle of attack?

If you’re hitting it 300 off the tee regularly, how many mid irons could you possibly have to hit? Are you playing 7200 yd courses often? I hit it a similar distance and usually play from about 7000 yards and other than par 3’s I almost never need a 4-6 iron.

Problem is my course. Beau Chene. It’s short as shite and takes driver out of my hands on holes due to the shape and OB fricking everywhere. So to get short irons or wedges you have to be very aggressive off the tee.
Played city park the other day and just bombed away everywhere and jt was awesome. And when I say mid irons I mean 7 iron and below. I just hit them so bad
For example my average carry for my 7 iron is 145-150

Considering your high clubhead speed and high apex on your drives along with the fact you only hit 7 iron 150 yards, im guessing you are a bit flippy at impact, adding loft.

Where the hell are you playing where you carry in the 290’s and still have mid irons? Lol

I don’t follow lowering the launch just to match up with tour numbers if you’re hitting fairways and have a consistent shot.
I’d be very careful chasing launch monitor numbers at the expense of on course performance.
ETA: if you can hit driver 290+ carry, there’s absoloutely no way you should hit 7 iron 145-150. Lowering the loft on driver isn’t going to fix that.

I’m trying to comprehend how someone who can carry their driver 290+ only hits a 7 145-150? I carry mine maybe 250 and I hit my 7 165-170. If I drove it 290 I wouldn’t give two shits about apex/spin. I’d work on everything else.

Work on your irons… you hit it plenty far… I hit it 10-15 yds less than you and play to a plus handicap… not all about distance.

Don’t trust that monitor. 300 carry with 113 swing speed and 17° angle and 2300 rpm doesn’t work.
